The place where furres and roleplay collide! (Note: We do not take responsibility for any brain damage as a result of joining this group.)

If you are interested in roleplay and a furre then by all means, join. This is meant to be a Steam group where people who are furres and interested in textual roleplay can meet others with the same interest. You will also be able to chat, roleplay or make new friends. Also, you can give people cookies.


The group will have 'Events' every now and then where we set up a general setting for a roleplay, and then everyone in the group are invited to hop in and participate in the roleplay.

Do note that sometimes the chatroom will be 'chat only', meaning there will be no roleplay in the chatroom. This is because if we have too many roleplayers, the chatroom would almost always have a roleplay going on, and then it wouldn't fulfill it's original purpose- Chatting. Officers will state when the chatroom is chat only.

Also, if no setting is provided and you're just roleplaying 'as is', the general setting is FurRP's own two story community house- Complete with a large living room, a room with multiple large size jacuzzis, kitchen, dining hall, backyard with swimming pool, bedrooms and so on and so forth.

As any other Steam group, we need rules. And you need to follow them.
1a. Roleplaying is allowed in the chatroom, be it yiffy or not, BUT. If someone gets offended and asks you to take it to a private chat instead, then do so.
1b. Do not ask people to take their RP elsewhere just for the sake of it.
1c. If you've been asked to take it elsewhere but it doesn't seem fair, take it up with an officer. If none are available, you'll have to do in private.
2. Public roleplay in the chatroom is considered free for anyone to join- This means that if someone asks for the setting of the roleplay, you'll have to provide it.
3. If there is serious RPs going on, then all out of character (OOC) is to be MINIMUM. Any OOC chat has to be in brackets or the like, and even better, kept to PMs!

4. Only one RP at a time in the chatroom- If it's already taken, then start a private chat group with those who are to participate. This is to keep things from getting confusing.
5. Generally when roleplaying, past tense and third person is preferred. This means that 'you' will not do sometimes. Use the name of the character/fursona or 'He'- Especially if it's a multi-participant roleplay. Those who've roleplayed for long will find that violating this rule is very annoying.
6. Linking is allowed, but if it's yiff/porn, provide a [NSFW] tag.

7. Use your common sense. Do not spam. Do not flame. Do not be an ass.
8. Keep in mind that this group is made for roleplaying purposes. If you are not active in said roleplays, you might get booted.
