To all Firehawks

I wanted to take a moment to speak about the meaning behind our clan name— Firehawks — and why it holds such power and beauty.

The name Firehawks wasn’t chosen randomly. I was inspired by a real group of raptor birds in Australia—the Black Kite, Whistling Kite, and Brown Falcon—that do something almost mythical. These birds have been observed starting fires by carrying burning sticks from wildfires and dropping them into unburnt areas. Why? To flush out prey. They create opportunity in chaos. It's an ancient hunting strategy witnessed for generations by Aboriginal Australians.

Just think about that: creatures that don’t just survive fire, but wield it as a weapon. That’s what the name Firehawks stands for—intelligence, strategy, fearlessness, and unity with nature’s raw power.

That’s what you all remind me of.

We are not just a clan—we are a force. We move with purpose, we adapt with skill, and together, we burn bright.
