Communication. Teamwork. Camaraderie

The Fighting 13th was established in July 2009 originally under the "13th MEU" (Marine Expeditionary Unit) moniker. We've changed the name since to reinforce our more casual nature.

We compete. We communicate and we value teamwork. We consider ourselves a "team of teams" in that we are all capable of collaborating with one another, no matter our seniority, skill level, or style of gaming. You will find us in Discord making call-outs and plays, giving out grid references and reconnoitering the enemy's disposition, and playing the objective-- all this for the grand prize of an esports tournament, or perhaps the casual afternoon game.

We have fun. Much of our fun is to be had from doing the above. However, what sets us apart is our ability to unwind, let loose, and laugh at each other. Aside from the day-to-day shenanigans and banter on Discord, in the game, and on our website, you will: hear us sing "music" to your ears during our karaoke nights, experience the thrill of our death races, or be chased until you run out of breath during our melee nights, and much much more!

We value our members. If you're having a good time, we are succeeding in our mission. If you're down in the dumps or if an issue is affecting your being in real life, we'd like to help (where possible). Current and former members can attest to the thoughtfulness and graciousness (and some, the hospitality) of our members--all because we care.
