And there ya have... In case nobody caught it yet, Konami is offering a safe haven finally from being robbed by hackers....... for a nominal fee, of course.

They offer no moderation, and no opt out, but will accept payment so you can deal with it.

Yo. I joined. Cant post in discussions but ill post here. Feel free to add me and I'll support when I get to FOB's. Just recently started playing PC version after completing PS4 version. Still early on in the game but I know my way around and I should be at FOB content fairly soon.

NOTE: The max number of security devices can be boosted through increasing the Base Development team's level (Automated Security). You can also gain the ability to assign more key security security zones through increasing the level of the Intel Team (Security Planning). You'd be a fool not to expand the FOB you were given or Mother Base. The one thing I would advise is to not have people in the waiting room for too long as morale will steadily decline.

About the security costs, I have mine set to max, non-lethal, and it's just under half a million GMP.

ATTENTION GROUP MEMBERS: I've heard from a friend that the October 6th patch made it to where the player who owns the FOB, or those who are supporting the owner, will not get a notification unless the intruder has set off a combat alert. It is now paramount, more than ever, that you beef up security to as high as you can get it, to get the full 200 possible with just the one FOB you were given for free, you need to expand the Command Platform (both on Mother Base, and the FOB). Doing so will increase the unit's capacity by 25 for each additional platform. Alternatively, you can buy insurance. This will refund anything the intruder managed to steal, though they still keep what they took. Nuclear weapons are NOT covered under the policy. Just be aware that it does cost real money.

It's stupid that you get attacked whilst offline, bloody ridiculous in fact, some dude raided me whilst offline, really bloody low if you ask me, i find that pretty despicable.
