Global Server Rules

1. Do not FailRP in a serious time - during events, trainings, briefings, and pretty much any RP situation, keep it in RP. If you're on base and sitting in the mess hall or barracks, you can ♥♥♥♥ around.

2. Do not RDM - RDM is the killing of anyone (irl friend, admin, officer, doesnt matter) when you are not supposed to. Unless an event calls for it, don't kill another player.

3. No Bullying - Jokes are fine, but actively seeking out and bullying another player will get you in trouble. We're not gonna punish people for teasing one another, but making younger players cry or things of that nature is just flat out stupid to do.

4. Do not use emotes and animations - Gmod comes defaulted with animations/emotes, and so do the keys in DarkRP base gamemodes. Dont use them.

5. Do not beg for tryouts or a rank up. Asking when they will occur is fine, but do not bug officers or admins.

My Mission for this community

Im Mak, the person who 'owns' the community, though I wouldnt say I own you guys. Anyways, I think people deserve to know what I want out of this community, wether its the money from running servers, the joy, etc. Well Im here to say that its not really any of those, I aim to just create a fun set of servers. Many times I have joined servers that are either too set in their ways to change for the better, or run by horrible staff, or just plain boring. I aim to create servers that dont suffer from any of those, and to create something players love to play on.

Updates about the HaloRP/ FMJ

So, after doing some thinking, some talking, and some other ♥♥♥♥ I have decided to move away from FMJ.

FMJ was fun, and it had a great first run but now it has become a name that doesnt hold the weight it used to. Most importantly, it doesnt hold my passion. I enjoyed HaloRP, and it was fun, but, it wasn't my passion. It wasn't what I really wanted to do for a server. The second go around was mainly just cause we already had the content and we already had the ♥♥♥♥. But it died, and I couldn't find the passion to revive it.

So, Im moving away from it all. FMJ is pretty much going to remain just a Steam Group now. I wont be releasing any more servers under FMJ, nor will I be going back to HaloRP.

I recently played some StarwarsRP again, and I realized it that SWRP is where my Gmod fun is. I played it for two years, and coming back to it just made me love it even more. So I found my good old partner Nines, and we played SWRP for a good few weeks. We loved it.

So, we're starting brand new. All fresh ♥♥♥♥, no more previous relations, content or anything. We're becoming a fresh slate. We have agreed that no previous staff will hold any special places. This means that everyone is on the same page now, doesn't matter if it is Cat, Random RDMer #37, Tallahasse, Yip, or whatever. Everyone is on the same page.

Having Nines as a co-owner will help a ♥♥♥♥ ton, not only with keeping the server running and keeping desicions unbiased, but also keeping things simple.

We both agreed that we want something similar to how SBS used to be. Simple as hell. We dont want 1,000 different droids and jedi types and special troops and models from every game under the sun and this that and the other. We want it how it used to be, everyone has their role, everyone has a special portion of their battalion, and passive RP is alive. One thing we hated was how passiveRP died when staff began to take over the role of CG/Police units. No longer could people be arrested for contraband, instead they were kicked or banned. No longer could the police force raid a battalions bunks because one of their troops made an off hand comment, now they were simply muted.

We want to bring all that back, and more. So, if you are interested in joining us, if you are interested in just giving it a shot, or if you are interested in finding a new home, join the Steam group. It will let us know that people are interested and it will let us host some Beta tests and stuff.
