关于 Executive Assault MP

Hello and welcome to Executive Assault MP!

A group made to make finding online players a little bit easier!

By joining this group, the following must apply to you:
1. You own either Executive Assault or Executive Assault 2.
2. You're interested in playing the multiplayer sometime
3. You don't mind being hit up by other fans of the game for a multiplayer match.

It's time.

TL:DR - Not going to be making new events.
Will be around to make sure this group doesn't get spammed or trolled but that's it.

As titled, it's the 10th, Christmas is coming, New Year is almost here and as promised, I'm making this 'farewell' announcement.

As of now, I won't be making any new events.

I just started working.

I feel like this little group has came so far and did it's job to help people find multiplayer matches.
I remember when I started it and over night got 18 members. Then 31. Then 40...And here we are at 200+.

Not bad for my first time creating a group/community

Feel free to continue using the Steam Group and Discord at your will.
I won't be deleting these, what I would consider, a mini-achievement so feel free.

I want to say thanks to the people I've met for being so cool and supportive.
Thanks to everyone involved in making Executive Assault what it is.
And thanks to you, the players, for joining and keeping these games alive.

Thank for staying with me on this little journey.

Hey!
Just a heads up, I thought I'd take a break scheduling events here between the following dates during the end of this year:

29th Oct - 5th Nov (This whole week)
Reasons: Halloween, family member birthdays

12th Nov - 18th Nov (One week)
Reasons: Christmas preparation, friend's birthdays

10th Dec - TBD
Reasons: Christmas prep, Christmas, New Year, time to get sober and collected again :steammocking:

All together, I just need to not worry about having to do this one thing every week. It's quickly became a chore again. :steambored:

I don't have a plan for the group. I never really have...
I'm not gonna delete the group or the Discord.
I'm not gonna hand over leadership to anyone either.
The group lives and dies by the number of active players and I can't control that.

The group was intended to make matchmaking/finding players easier in EA1. I know I have reached that goal.
I promised I'd be around for the release of EA2 and keep things rolling.
I have done so.

I know it's not a big feat or anything but I'm quite proud of this group.
I've had a few good laughs playing with the group back on EA1.
I've even met some interesting and wonderful people in doing so. :steamhappy:

So. What happens during the TBD?
What happens in 2019?
Chances are, life will get too busy for me to spend time on this group eventually anyway.
Not that I'm currently spending hours of my day here or anything.
But sometimes it's just best to not have to worry about a thing, you know?

I'll still be using Steam and PC gaming and stuff.
But for now, don't expect anything from me here after 2019.

I hope everyone has an awesome rest of week.
I'll be sure to write again before the 10th of December.

I haven't been since 10th December, 2018. I don't plan on coming back either I'm afraid.

You might still be able to find people to play with though. Seems like more people have joined since I stopped actively running the group.

Maybe leave a post and leave a message in the chat too?
