Any technical questions about the official HWS servers need to be directed to the staff at the HWS forums, we only have limited knowledge here of there data base.

8.0 is out in 2 days, Larger planets and a ton of other changes, takes Empyrion into the survival genre good and proper, progression slowed, more things to do, more stuff to find, new POIs on most planets, procedural generation is also improved, new splat maps and stamp maps have added alot of detail to the terrains, there is a thread at Eleon Forum for suggestions, coming into version 9.0 we can expect to see the focus shift from map formats to purely gameplay features.

Might even see the SP storyline adressed alot more in 9.0 !
