Shooting Ravagers since 2017.

This is a group dedicated to collecting players, fans, and so forth, of the legendary Earth Defence Force series from Japan, and bring EDF to PC, as well as play together

"The enemy is relentless and will stop at nothing to wipe us out. Our forces are dwindling at a rapid rate, and all looks hopeless. Humanity faces extinction, but we can never surrender. Troops, Prepare for battle!"

This series has had 4 main games so far.

Monster Attack: This first game was released as part of another series in japan, Surprisingly, it caught on, eventually becoming the foundations for EDF 1

EDF 2/Global Defence Force: The first game in the series. In 2017, the ravagers invade Earth, dropping countless robots, bugs, and Not-Godzillas in an attempt to erradicate humanity.

EDF 2017/EDF 3: A reboot to the series, EDF 2017 is an utterly amazing title, and practically the main reason I got a console. With an absurd level of weapons, missions, amusing dialogue, over-the top yet serious overtone, and a stellar soundtrack, this game is EASILLY one of the greatest experiences. In 2013, Radio signals come from space, indicating we're not alone in the universe. They don't come in peace.

EDF 2025/EDF 4/EDF 4.1 - The shadow of New Despair : The newest title in the series, and even more kick-ass than 2017, now with four classes. The stand-alone expansion includes giant-ass-mechs punching not-godzillas in the face.

The series has also received two spinoffs:

A turn based game. I know nothing of this.

Earth Defence Force - Insect Armageddon : The only PC title we have. And it is not as great as the other titles (2017, 2025). It is also american/western made, We did not receive a proper title vindictive of the series name.

Does anyone who plays 4.1 want to squad up for some missions, I am rather new and have completed the game with three of the classes, I have discord or we can just play with no voice chat. Add me!
