Ok, thus far:

-5 tp 6 players per team. If we have enough people sign up, teams can be chosen.
-One Batcave admin per team.
-Probably a best of 3 or 5 match thing per round. So, say KOTH or 5 CP...or maybe even CTF. Whoever wins the most of the 5 wins that round. Arena MAY make an appearance since I know how much everyone loves it :P
-Losers might play in some lulz-round to go up against the winners of the legit round. Or perhaps there will just be a lulz round. Something like taunt kills only.
-If we have a prize, it'll probably only be for one person...unless I can get the other admins to be generous. Or it's something uber cheap. Or something non-materialistic. I want to have a prize though. Though, say we give out a game, at a price, it can be picked, and if only one person gets it, the remainder of the team will have some lulzy competition for it.
-All admins WILL NOT BE BATCAVE ADMINS DURING THE MATCH. This ensures a lack of cheating. I will oversee as many games as I can, and if Shvitz doesn't take part, he will be another watching.
-Spectators WILL BE allowed. Heckling in chat will be allowed, but anything that could adversly affect the game (say, give away a location of a spy or something stupid), and you will be disqualified and/or banned.
-Server will be passworded for the matches. Announcements with the password will be given in the group. Ideally if you have someone on your team, you'll want them to be in the group so they can see tourney dates.
-Time will probably be mid-early august. After August 16th works best for me, I don't know about the rest of you.

And a bit more:

-A variety of maps and modes, to be determined. So far, CP maps are looking like Well, Yukon, and Granary. KotH will at least be Nucleus, probably Harvest and Sawmill on top of that. We're currently working out how to integrate all of these modes into a decisive and fair tourney that avoids as much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as possible.

-Most likely round-robin play, unless the scoring system changes that, olol.

-There will be Wild Card (read: Shenanigans) rounds. Possibilities include fist fights (including Gunslinger, harhar), taunt kills only, or maybe just some ridiculous levels like all Engis on Arena Face-Off.

-No unlocks (unless Wild Card Round calls for it)

-Highlander mode (that there thing that restricts teams to one of each class)

-A prize will be awarded, either to the top point scorer of the tournament, the top point scorer of the winning team, or to the entire winning team if money can be gotten through generous donations by the admins. Winners of the Wild Card rounds will receive virtual Rick Rolls at an undisclosed time.

-Unless six people come forth to Jonny or me with a team laid out, we'll scramble everyone who's signed up into teams based on our current rage meters and secret bribes to be mailed to 123 Fake St.

-Tourney will not start until at least August 13th (oooh, Harvest Event shenanigans for Friday the 13th??).

-Each team will have an appointed leader (default will be the server admins unless they pass the mantle on) who are responsible for corralling their teammates and getting them into the server at the appropriate time.

-Spectators allowed until shenanigans occur to frustrate Jonny and me. Then ban hammer comes out. We'll provide lulz commentary.

That's basically it. There will be some manner of enforcing the no unlocks rules. Probably a strikes system of sorts, but that's for us to figure out and relay down the line when the official thread shows up.
