Drift Stage External Community

"Progress is slow" I say a couple hours before a massive announcement like this. I wanna start off by thanking delko, the whole post is shining with good news and also answers a lot of questions regarding recent actions, most importantly for this place the deletions. Here are some notable quotes:

I had to wait until it was all wrapped up, and that wasn't until very recently...

Regarding the existence of this place, I started it because of said deletions. I don't have good memory, gimmie 3 years and I've forgotten everything. So obviously if the thing I'm trying to recall has been erased from the history books then it's gonna feel like a big stick in my rear. Irregardless of delko's statement I think it's bad form to delete posts like he did. That stuff's history, as insignificant as it seems and I want that stuff to stick around so I can actually piece things together. If old posts are incorrect then you only need to make a new post clearing things up like you just did, only deleting the old ones will leave the incorrect statement lingering like a bad smell. I was here worried sick that you had some ulterior motives or something by trying to hide the game's history, just you wanted to clear the air.

That being said I wanna apologise profusely if this came off as stalking. By my definition taking screenshots of public posts is not stalking but it could very easily have come off as hostile, slanderous or confrontational which I pray it did not. I did my best to avoid all 3, I took some screenshots and asked like 3 people some questions. One thing I want to clear the air on is that one user in here went on a spree in the drift stage discussions page, calling the game dead and saying you didn't care about it and such. I didn't tell him to do that, when I saw him doing it I told him "don't do that dummy." cause I don't agree with it. I hope you don't think I orchestrated that or something.

I don't have a date on when most steam posts were deleted but between that point and right now there was basically no official statement on what had happened or was going on with the game. Lots of newcomers and/or oldcomers who'd forgotten didn't know anything which I don't find very cool with a very unfinished game like this for sale. The point of the external community was to A) piece together what had happened, and B) save everything in the present so this situation can't ever happen again. Seeing how quickly you worked it out of this rut I'm confident in saying that point B is not an issue I need to worry about anymore. Even if this happens again you'll have it straightened out in a month or 2. Just for the sake of having multiple sources on the topic I still wanna pursue point A, to compile a recollection of events from multiple community members so it can be lined up with your statement(s) for extra credibility.
