Drake himself I think is pretty open and honest that he isn’t a perfect person. Of course he flexes a ton, as he should, but he’s also pretty vulnerable and real about being a sensitive dude. Ye and a lot of other rappers make themselves out to be gods, as if they are above all criticism. I think fan bases generally keep the same energy as the artist they follow. Die hard ye fans hold tight to that “he’s a god” complex, fans of Cole are usually pretty down to earth, 69 fans (if that even still exists) are massive trolls, go to the Earl Sweatshirt sub and you’ll find a lot of people pretty open about their addictions and depression. Generally speaking most fans follow certain artists cause they identify with them. Drake can get into his cocky bag from time to time but in most the interviews I see him do he seems like a pretty humble and passionate guy. His fans reflect that I think
