A terrible one hour lag fest just ended, frequently disconnecting everyone and eventually chasing off all but me as far as I can see. The 5-minute-flight from teh desert back home took me almost 50 minutes, several reconnects and 3 deaths. I got my crappy lvl 50 bird back safely though! Yay.
