Hardcore Survival Mod In Development

Our vision for Desolation REDUX:
We want to bring a DayZ Mod-like experience into ArmA 3. Taking inspiration from all survival games such as DayZ (w/o the colored sweater simulator part), Rust, 7D2D, H1Z1, Ark and many more to make a true hardcore experience. We want to revive Desolation Mod. We want to rebuild Desolation Mod. We want to make it easy to customize. We want to bring back a hardcore survival to the game series we all know and love. Many of us had challenging but amazing experiences in plenty of DayZ mods that saddly hardly exist today. And for the masses that missed this experience well, we want to offer that chance to do so. Many of us take our inspiration from Origins mod and what they set out to do. We want to bring this back and do it right with also being completely open source and allowing you to be informed with our work through devlogs, trello, discord, and the forums! So make sure you are caught up and can do so by following the links provided below.

We would like to invite you to our server which is on the DSR Chernarus map. The used modes are DesolationRedux, CUP and FOXsurvival cars. The map is enriched with various locations that can be explored.
Modes can be downloaded either through the A3 Launcher or through the original ARMA3 Launcher

I have been playing DayZ since about 3 months after its first release. when the average player lived for 6 minutes. with no retention. I love this game. I cant seem to stay away from it no matter what else i play. If there is ever an opening and I could be useful. I would be happy to devote some of my time to testing. Good luck to you all. ive been accepted for the alpha and ive got the mail that im in and youll send information, i got a second email today that said lets go but nothing else, i need help :C

Your best bet for taking part of pre-alpha is being active in the community through the forums or discord. And also making sure to post any bugs if you do make it in. ;)

I saw DevBLOG #20 and it said there is going to be a Pre-Alpha testing for select individuals. How do you become one of these select individuals?
I really love that you guys are bringing back the best arma 3 mod in my opinion and i would love to test the Pre-Alpha!
