The Re-Redesign of Demize Esports

So Demize has gone down a long path over the years with mild success in the competitive gaming scene. While the mild success was fulfilling, Esports as a whole has changed. The PC gaming culture has shifted towards games like DOTA 2 and League of Legends. While they are good games in their field, it's not what Demize is really about. Competitive FPS has basically died over the past couple years. Counter-Strike, my game of choice, has changed quite a bit since I first started playing. CS 1.6 was my first love in video games and will remain in my top three best games of all time. However, times have changed. CAL is dead. CPL is dead. CGS is Dead. ESEA is dropping CS 1.6 and CS:S within the next couple seasons to transfer all of their efforts to CS:GO. Competitive FPS in America has come to a screeching halt.

Through these transitions, Demize Esports has taken the changes in stride and had that mild success I was talking about with it. However, it just wasn't the same as it was back in the day when FPS competition was on top of the gaming world. Over the past year or so, I've gotten into games such as Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead and the DayZ mod. Arma has a wonderful collection of games and mods that really bring the house down when it comes to an overall fun experience. It's opened me up to a new world of FPS and I don't know if I'll look back.

So what does that mean for Demize?

Demize Esports will once again transform into a full on gaming community with a focus on Arma III, DayZ and a few other TBA titles. Our goal here at Demize is to provide a stable home for all of our members and to provide all the tools and resources needed to have the best experience possible. We can't do it without you though. We need your help to get us up and running and to build a solid base.

Demize Esports will also need help behind the scenes in terms of moderation and management. The following positions are now available:
• Community Division Manager
• In-game Administrators
• Forum Moderators
• Squad Leaders

New DayZ Lingor Server Up & Running!

Us here at Demize Esports are proud to announce the launch of our DayZ Lingor server that will be running on the Vilayer/bliss public hive.

To find our server:
• Search for "Demize" in DayZ Commander.
• Search for the IP "209.222.91.234:2312" in either DayZ Commander or the in-game browser.

We love the things Vilayer are doing for the DayZ community and will continue to support them throughout the port over to the DayZ standalone as well as all future game server pruchases.

Look out for the Planet DayZ website coming in the next week or two. It will feature a mature, constructive and informed group of people that will be willing to help you with problems or team up with you and help you murder people in-game! The site will also feature things such as map information, mod information and much more. I will post more info as it comes in.
