You know that sound is just a preasure wave that travels because air molecules bounce off each other... We have also developed a way to turn sound waves into electronic data by makeing microphones that detect the preasure wave and send signals into your computer which interprets the signals as data... Humans have also created a way to send electronic signals through the air very efficiently so we can bounce signals from our home network to a towel, then to a satelite, then from other tower or satelites to it's destanation... So, for example, when I say something into my microphone. That preasure wave is detected by the microphone and turned into a electronic signal pattern, which is then sent through my computer, then transmitted from my router out to the neaarest tower. When the signal reaches the tower it is rcived then ampliffied by the tower and sent to the AT&T satelite in low geostationary orbit over the United States. Since I am using myself as the example, the signal will probably be going to Florida, so only one satelite is needed, and the signal is ampplified and sent from it to a tower on the ground in Florida. There, it is transmitted from tower to tower splitting off to where each of the other people who are also using the software live. It is transmitted into each router, proccessed then sent from there into your computer, which then uses the software, (in this case Raidcall), and is uncompressed back into almost the originaly picked up sound. Then it is sent to the chosen audio output, which turns the signal into sound waves, which spread from the speakers and or headset. After the sound wave travels a albeit short distance, your eardrums pick up the sound waves, then transmit that signal to the brain. After which it tries to understand the sound, and translate it into language.


So I am still trying to figure out how you can hear me without listening to me...
