DayZ Stand-Alone Tips

PROTIP: Go HERE for the best tips on the new DayZ! :) :)

Some of these tips include:

-Make scraps (which are a less sanitary alternative to bandages) from fabrics (shirts, bandannas) by right clicking the item while it is not equipped.
-Lower or raise a held item with the space bar
-You need an opening device to get food from canned goods (such as pasta, beans, not sodas or tuna). An opening device can be anything from an ax, screwdriver to a canopener, but the prior two may cause an amount of food to be lost during opening.
-You can break out of handcuffs if the handcuffs are not in good condition! I've done it myself! ;)
-Zombies run indoors, and glitch through walls, so be careful!
-If you place an item on the ground and it doesnt appear, wait for a minute at most, sometimes the item takes a little while to appear.
-If you have an item in your hot key menu that is all white and hollow looking, that means you no longer have that item or that the item is empty.

Search it, you'll find it. It's $30, and is an alpha release. This means the game will be very rough, will be full of bugs, etc. Do not purchase if you do not want to deal with those sort of issues... I''m getting it, and cant wait for the download to finish. I can post my reaction when I start it up.
