Myself and many of the staff got really tired of finding great worlds with great Rp'er's where after devoting months to play and RP it became apparent that no matter how good our RP was. No matter what we rp'ed doing it had no effect on what the staff "planned". In addition we always found alot of favoritism toward DM characters and staff pals. They often had items,weapons, and positions not available at all to the general players. So our pledge here at Dalelands is this:

DM's will never have items or positions unavailable to players. DM PC's will be expected to step aside for any positions of power to a interested and worthy player. All quests and/or plots must be flexible and reactive to players. In essence this is a world built by players for players. Not for the staff, not for the staffs pals. For you, the good rp'er who wants to make a difference in a world! We will do our best to reward Rp'ers no matter who they are, bottom line.
