Group mission statement

This is a group for long term players who are sick and tired of seeing newer users being harassed and threatened every time we log onto a server. Membership is not limited to older players, but anyone who attempts to join this group for purposes of harassing newer players will be summarily banned. Remember, this is your community, these are fellow players. Treat them as you would want to be treated.

A lot of people over the last few months have given me grief over opening this group.

Some people just plain don't understand where I come from, and likely many of you come from as well.

Maybe it's the sheer injustice of it that bothers you. Maybe you just want to play the game without having server after server hijacked by some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unwilling to concede that their deaths might be caused by bad luck or lack of skill and is howling for the blood of people who are completely innoccent of the charge that is levied against them.

Or maybe you've even been there in other games.

Maybe you are there now.

However you came to the realization it was wrong, whether it came gradually or you always knew, never go silent when you see free to play players being attacked for that status. These are our sons, our daughters, brothers, sisters, friends and family. These are members of our community we are seeing attacked, and if you love this game as much as I do, love it enough to speak up.

Do not stand aside, do not yield one inch of ground. And remember always to walk the high road. This is our community, our game, and our players.

No matter how few of us it seems are here, no matter how much harassment you yourself have to endure, remember that it's worth it. We can have a better game for all, if we're willing to work for it.

Because they aren't good admins, typically. The kick script doesn't even offer any real benefit since the majority of cheaters have had the game for awhile and bought it. They've avoided VAC bans largely by not doing to much of it to noticably.
