Thanks for thinking of me @anabasis. Yeah, you can get ruby from blood gold, "gold" physics objects by slicing normal gold nuggets, and some other materials in this way as well (basically slicing pieces of physics off of box2D physics objects/items.)
This is also how we end up getting molten robot aluminium (using null shot on a lumi, you can slice off bits of the healer drones and normal drones to get aluminium, which you can then melt-down into the molten version to collect it.)
I'll be trying to collect ruby, FOR SURE, but since my telekinetic kick perk is now broken, it is going to maybe be a bit annoying. But I'll do it!
