Hi everyone i'm going to give some quick tips and trix in mapping.

1. "collect" mapping mattes.
1 A. when you get stuck:
they maybe can help you if you ask.
1 B. when they get stuck:
you can help them.

2. keep watching/reading mapping tutorials, you newer know if you can learn something new from it.
(i've learned alot from tutorials and i keep looking for more to learn)

3. "think of everything"
create or remove kill zone's, sniper nest's and bunkers from your level.
And most of all think of making the map as equal for both teams as possible to improve game play

4. watch/read strategy tips for "your" game and similar games ( ex if you map for a ww2 fps check out some strategy vids for a ww2 rts)

5. create cover for the player without making it obvious for him/her (ex. the pillars in dod_stepz_of_iron_elite is a good example of hidden cover)
