New Tribes: Ascend Superteam Announced!

In a world first, Tribes: Ascend Superteam "Certified Organic" has taken out the ESL Skirmish Tribes: Ascend Championship, becoming the first team in the history of the game to win such a large sum of money.

The lead-up to the Grand Final saw Certified Organic take on some of the scene's toughest opponents, smashing muffins of doom (3-0), NoGG (3-0) and oiWhiteWhale (3-0).

The recent results are promising for the new team, with many players having never played in a tournament such as this before. "Wow - it's almost unbelievable. We only finalised our roster yesterday and, yet, here we are - champions of the world," said team captain EpsilonAlpha. "You just don't think it'll ever happen - and yet here we are."

Certified Organic's win follows the controversy sparked by the recent VAC Anti-Cheat banning of player Hurlz, who was caught using an aim script in the middle of the 3rd map between Certified Organic and NoGG. "We were going to name our team after him - but here at Certified Organic, we do not condone cheating in any way. What we do condone is the consumption of entirely certified organic produce," player Shazbotaz told us. "We decided to go with Certified Organic instead - it is, after all, what we stand for."

For the young new superteam, the win follows 24 hours of hard work and preparation. The team sees themselves as capable to improve further, and to continue to take out tournaments with style.

Certified Organic is expected to play their first match in the next several months.
