The Republic of Carthage is an Ancient Role Play group, and is the first Carthage Role Play Group On Steam.

The first civilization that developed within the city's sphere of influence is referred to as Punic (a form of the word "Phoenician") or Carthaginian. The city of Carthage is located on the eastern side of Lake Tunis across from the centre of Tunis. According to Roman legend it was founded in 814 BCE by Phoenician colonists from Tyre under the leadership of Elissa (Queen Dido). It became a large and rich city and thus a major power in the Mediterranean.

The government of Carthage is an oligarchal republic, which relies on a system of checks and balances and ensures a form of public accountability. In order to protect our values, we have allied ourselves with some of the most powerful nations in Ancient Role Play. Together, we can overcome the evils of the world, and bring back glory to the Ancient world!

All non-Admin Members are part of the Popular Assembly.

These members will have 1 vote each.

Suffets are to be elected every 4 Weeks by the Council.

Senators are to be elected every 2 Weeks by the Popular Assemblies.

Suffets can agree to disband a Senator from his position.
Concil can veto the disbandent by majority vote.

Council Declares War by Majority vote.
