The Rules of Thy Tier!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Military~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Armies Cost $15k each and takes 3 RL days to recruit

Navies Cost $10k each and takes 3 RL days to recruit

Fortress Cost $10k each and takes 6 RL days to construct. When a fort is constructed in a region it allows any battle occurring there to take place as a siege battle , 1 frotress protects only 1 province.

Garrison rule: Miltia troops (only) defending your fortresses, cost 5000 dollars buy and upkeep of 2500. It allows each fortress to be garrisoned by 500 milita troops.

Movement – Armies = 15 degree square per 12hours Each navy can transport two armies. Armies/Navies must acquire permission to move through occupied territory

Upkeep –$5k each army per week. $4k each navy per week

Resources – This is a quick yet risky way to expand the income available to the your nation. This declaration of war must include which nation you are attacking and what resources/colonies you are attempting to acquire from them

Land – Some nations seek to expand their borders and rightfully so. When declaring war, announce which regions are being invaded along with a link showing a map of the area. 20 AI territories per week, you need to send an army to the area you need to capture then wait for 24 hours, then the area will be yours.

Total Annihilation - There will come a time when one nation will not be satisfied with anything less than the complete destruction of their enemy. To do so, all of a nations armies and navies must be destroyed. If the nation surrenders, their armies and navies are dispersed and the contents of the defeated nations treasury is given to the victor

Alliances – In order to participate in a war on behalf of an ally, the alliance must be more than one weeks old and posted on the participating nations group page. If an alliance is broken, the nations cannot attack each other for 3 RL days

ALL~ declarations of war must be posted to tier page to be valid. The type of war should be stated clearly in the message along with any other necessary information. The defender has 3days to respond before loosing, if they respond , you must shedule times for battles , whenever it suits you both , one may postpond the time , if it becomes too much of postponding though call the overseerer to fix it out.

Rebellion rule ~ A special senario will be prepared by overseerer(s).

"Claims" - Any nation may claim any land on earth, HOWEVER, this DOES NOT mean they auto-own it. You MUST go ALL the way over there and fight and win the battle. If another nation fights and takes the land you "claimed", too bad for the claiment, since there is nothing you can do besides war.

Mobilization is the immediate recruitment of 5 armies. They cost 20,000 and is immediately raised without recruitment time.


Two types of mobilization:
National Mobilization is when a nation mobilizes in an area where the language and/or culture is predominantly the same as the mother country. The types of armies mobilized will be the same as the mother country. For example, if Britain mobilizes in Australia, the mobilized armies are going to use British units (in Napoleon or Empire Total War).

Colonial Mobilization is when a nation mobilizes in an area where the language and/or culture does not match the mother country. The types of armies mobilized will be determined by the geographic features of a land or province. If a nation mobilizies in desert regions, the 5 armies will be using Ottoman units in Napoleon. If a nation mobilizes in an temperate climate, they will be using Austrian units in Napoleon. If a nation mobilizes in tropical countries, they will be using Spainish units in Napoleon. If a nation mobilizes in a frozen climate, Russian units will be used in Napoleon.


Upkeeps, Costs, and Consequences:
After one week of mobilization, they have the option of demobilizing or converting the mobilized armies into standing regular armies.

If a nation decides to demobilize, then they do not need to pay the upkeep.

If a nation decides to keep the mobilize armies and convert them into regular, standing armies, then the mobilization upkeep does not apply to the mobilized armies and the regular army upkeep will be applied. It costs no money to convert mobilized armies into standard armies.

If a nation refuses to do both and it is during peacetime, then the upkeep will exponentially rise. This chart explains below:

2 weeks = 16,000
3 weeks = 36,000
4 weeks = 64,000
5 weeks = 100,000
6 weeks = 144,000
7 weeks = 196,000
8 weeks = 256,000
9 weeks = 324,000
10 weeks = 400,000

***The exponential upkeep is formed from this function f(x) = square root(x).

If a nation refuses to do both and it is during wartime, then the upkeep will be 1,000. Once it has reached peacetime, the peacetime exponential upkeep is applied.


Other rules:
A type of mobilization may only occur once, whether it is national or colonial mobilization. A nation cannot mobilize for the second time unless the mobilized troops are demobilized or converted into regular, standing armies. If the mobilized armies are destroyed in a land battle, then they have to wait for one week before they can mobilize again. If the mobilized armies are lost during a naval battle, a nation can mobilize again instantly.

We need to add in your mobilization rule too Yoshi, that never made it in. It's been deleted too... Maybe i can find it by digging through the Grande tier...shudder
