If you want to create a game just use an annoucement, then create a game.
If you want to create an event for a future date, feel free to do so.

Please remember that we want some quality games, and if everyone quits so easy, we will keep getting bad games. So quit a game only after the capital is lost, or after all other player agree that you can leave.
