One Year since it happened.

To those who are still in this group and take the time to read this, then thank you.

Wow, it's been one whole year since the incident huh? Time passes by in a flash honestly, and it's surprising. I remember it clearly..I remember the stuff that happened on that day, and it frustrates me, and it makes me mad.

I remember having fun on that day, playing the halloween event and getting contracts in and all of that, until I received a message from a "friend" (not my friend anymore btw) about "accidentally reporting your account and that you need to contact this person", and I did. That was where I made the wrong move and that's where I regretted my life decisions..I did everything that that person told me and I didn't know what was going to happen because I was oblivious and dumb and didn't know what to do. Like I never handled anything like that before and that was the first time I got scammed...

The one thing I should've known was when he asked for my discord and told me to call him..that was where I should've known that something was wrong...The only smart thing that I did in that situation was take pictures of the items that were in my inventory, and I still have those pictures of my stuff..
I remember I had to go out that day and do something and then I came back home and looked at my game, and the next thing you know, everything is gone..

It's sometimes difficult for me to forget this day because a lot happened that I didn't expect to happen you know? To be honest, I do laugh at myself for it, but I honestly don't want to be judged for this. I messed up. Imagine all the things you've been saving up for years and friends gifting stuff to you to just have it all taken away from you? It's still upsetting for me to remember what happened but yeah...

To those who were there in helping me through the whole situation, I want to thank you. I was an awful mess and y'all came through to help me, even though I said that I wanna do this myself..to help myself get everything back because it was my fault...but I am okay now guys, I'm getting everything back, getting some new stuff, and much more! It's still a new start with me getting everything back but I will have everything soon again, slow steps.

Hello everyone, this may be kind of a serious thing for me to say and talk about and and you don't have to read it all if you don't want to and its okay, but all I have to say is, thank you. Why am I saying this? Well, I honestly never took the time to say this to nobody who has been there for me, who has helped me, and has done a lot for me. But what I'm most thankful for is to have all of you as my friends, but I treat you all like you're my family. I care about everyone and love everyone, but even if we don't talk as much, I still care about you no matter what. The whole reason why I'm me, Burny, and the fact on why I'm here is because I want to make everyone happy.
Another thing is that me being Burny also makes me happy. Ever since I started this account, I didn't think I'd make that much friends on here really. I know that I've lost a lot of friends too but it's okay. I understand that friends come and go but once again, it's okay, that's life. But being here on Steam makes me feel happy, by getting away from the real world for once and playing with a bunch of people makes me feel safe. I've met some great people that I can trust and talk to about many things too.
But since that one day where I got scammed and lost everything, I was ashamed of myself because why would I fall for something like that? People also questioned the same question to me, and I knew I messed up. I still carry that guilt with me till this day, and I feel that I cannot forget it. People have also said, "its just a game", but this game is the game I love, and its my comfort zone. I almost quit playing and was going to leave Steam but I wanted a second chance, so I kept playing. I didn't think that I made the right decision but I did, and I'm happy that I did. At the same time with this, I didn't want people to feel pity for me and help me because it was my fault in the first place. But I'm happy that people took the time to help me, and I'm grateful for that.
Enough with all the sad talk and all of that. I'm not good at typing down stuff really so sorry if this typing isn't really understandable to read. I'm kinda getting emotional as I'm typing because I never really thought about writing all this down, in a full paragraph saying "Thank You" to everyone. But once again, thank you. You all are the greatest friends/family I've honestly ever had in my life. You may also talk to me anytime you want to. Thank you to those who took the time to read this full paragraph, and have a great day everyone ^^
