4. The lower noise and generally superior performance of the GTX 970 over 770 is making me a bit inclined to buy that. Is that useless if I buy the i5-4690k as a CPU, because the CPU becomes the bottleneck, or is that not the case?

5. How important is which company makes the card? Is the EVGA GTX 970 virtually identical to the ASUS one, and gigabyte one, etc?

12:42 - [GFL] Oyvoyv: Hello, Stomper! I have some questions about PCs again!

1. How do ports work when building a PC? I'm assuming the HDMI port comes out of the graphics card (so I plug that into the HDMI "slot" on the case I buy), and that USB ports connect to the internal hard-drives. Is that correct?

2. Are network cards now built into the motherboard? In my last desktop PC, it was a separate card. Do I have to buy a separate network card?
