Sven Gauntlet Issue
I was making a gauntlet for Sven, after i finished my 3D work i moved to the Weight Paint mode and i painted it just like the orginal gauntlet is painted, then i added an idle animation just to make sure that i've done well... the hand was opened overly, i tried to fix it but i couldnt, then i notice that the other hand have the same problem (the right hand of Sven is combined to the whole body)

After all that, i entered the game and tested the orginal gauntlet, the hand is still opened overly..... -_- now i really need help.

This is really weird... You are using the Sven model Valve supplied in the workshop, right? I would try starting a fresh scene in Blender, importing a fresh sven model, and then import your guanlet. Re-rig the model and export the .smd file (no animations are required).
I tried everything.. it looks like the arms that Valve supplied in the workstop are not the same as the in game model, i think that's why the commander's gauntlet is idk like half arm.
If u have the Sven model downloaded can u try this for me pls.... run dota 2 import the orginal gauntlet smd with the textures, and tell me if u have the same problem :)
Try decompiling the sven model from the vpk as I described in the video. Use the decompiled version since it will be correct.
You are right, the problem gone but i checked the Weight Paint.. it is painted in the same way that the smd in the workshop painted... and i don't want to rework the gountlet i made omg this is really complicated

and btw i want to thank u for that very usefull video, it really helped me a lot <3

I understood everything... the bones of the hands in the game are different of the bones in the workshop which i downloaded.... i don't know how to thank you, i really appreciate your help.
