cant find DMX options on 2.80
Flex properties appear when you add shape keys to mesh and select the mesh in exporter tab

Losing Bones on DMX export
This is a bad solultion though.
Try removing mesh modifiers before exporting (except Armature)

Vertex weighting not stored?
Also, in both cases it adds blender_implicit bone, no matter if it failed or not.
Turns out if mesh has EdgeSplit modifier added, the addon exports it without weightings
