2K Games relança Bioshock 2 no Steam sem o Games For Windows Live

A produtora 2K Games anunciou que o jogo Bioshock 2 está sendo "relançado" no Steam sem o serviço Games For Windows Live.

A conversão do jogo para o Steamworks foi feita pela Digital Extremes, incluindo total compatibilidade com um controlador, suporte à Achievements e ainda suporte para o modo Big Picture. Além disso, o multiplayer de Bioshock 2 foi ajustado para permitir que os jogadores possam procurar qualquer jogo, sendo necessário menos pontos para aumentar de nível.

A 2K Games informa ainda que os jogadores que compraram BioShock 2 através de uma plataforma digital alternativa também serão capazes de ativar o jogo no Steam, usando a chave original do produto comprado na época. Ativando BioShock 2 no Steam dará aos jogadores o acesso aos DLC's de mapas multiplayer, Protector Trials e Minerva's Den.

Aporveitando essas mudanças, os dois primeiros games estão com 50% de desconto até 07/10.
