Begotten II takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland; the remnants of a once-great civilization that had reached the pinnacle of decadence, where moral depravity still reigns supreme.

God has committed suicide, leaving the denizens of Earth in the hands of the ruinous powers, the Begotten. Packs of demons roam the wastelands, brutalizing any human survivors in their wake. Some appear to resemble deformed humanoids, while others take on forms beyond comprehension, equal only in their bloodlust against the living.

Human survivors, also known as Wanderers, are the husks of mankind. To live as a man in the Begotten realm is to live in complete insignificance, with any possible waking minute marking your inevitable demise.

The only redemption to seek is within the Town of Light, a settlement controlled by the de-facto Pope of the Light and his fanatical cult of Gatekeepers. Gatekeepers are bound by their faith to protect the Pope at all costs, and to defend the outskirts of the town from the Begotten hordes.

The Undergod has claimed both Hell and Earth as his own; however, the exiled deities seek to interfere in his plans. The old gods intend to expand their sphere of influence among denizens in an effort to reclaim what they've lost.

Rules

1. No breaking acceptable rules of roleplay; this includes failRP, powergaming, "mingegrabbing", "asspulling", avoidance of roleplay. It doesn't make a difference either way; you'll still die just as quickly.

2. If you are a player, please respect your fellow players and administrators. They are the heathens and gods of this realm.

3. If you are staff, please respect your players and fellow administrators. The heathens below you expect respite.

4. This server thrives on the aspect of death and loss. Permanent deaths will be handed out often, so do not be surprised when this happens to you. Holding grudges OOCly for any perpetrators of a deceased character's death will not be tolerated.

5. High roleplay quality is expected for the crafting of rituals and summonings, and admins will often set aside time to assist you in said rituals.

6. Shoot-to-kill is always active, no matter what; deaths will always lead to PKs, no matter what. Trust no one. This does not apply to safe zones such as the Town.

7. Roleplay can be as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TWISTED as you prefer.

8. We are all here in the end to have fun. Do not take the server too seriously. Please be a good sport and help others have fun as well.

This is not a joke. From now on, every server we will ever work on will have a highly illegal plugin that fries your GPU through a backdoor download. This is specifically aimed at Nebulous.Cloud players. As long as you do not associate yourselves with these communities, your hardware will be safe. This is not a joke. This is not a joke. We are allowed to make stupid jokes like us rolling up to your house and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killing you for minging on our server, but us frying your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ $30 hardware on your garbage 1120x800 resolution computers is crossing the line. Some jokes just go a little too far. This joke would be even more toxic because my friend whose a god Glua coder told me how an illegal GPU killer is completely possible. 5 of my 10 friends told me about how they got the fix it vinhll virus by joining Hacked servers, so something like this could totally be done if you know the right man for the job, which we are.

I thought Beggotten was Nebulous.Cloud's funny unserious side server that we play on after we're done with our WW3RP s2k events, or when we're bored of our static mediocre hl2rp server that's been up for 5 years and never changes... Now my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GTX 450 has been fried, thanks Grist!" ~ You know who he is.

The next of the experimental Begotten spin-offs. As usual, this server will be testing several key features that may or may not be included in the next primary Begotten server.

This particular server will be taking a more serious approach, so if you are expecting the retarded meme filled atmosphere of The Room, then you should avoid this one. Any hints of that behavior will result in your instant ban.

The server will be launching somewhat soon, and will last a total of 3 days as did The Room.
