Happy New Year! .. it's 2020 already and man does time fly by.

There hasn't been any activity or announcements from this group for a couple years now but as many of you can guess Aycerus has been long past its heyday. As 2020 rolls in I believe this is a good opportunity to bid all our members a proper farewell.

It was a good run and I want to thank all our regulars who joined daily and made the Aycerus what it was; a place to hangout. I hope you enjoyed spending time on the servers as much as we enjoyed hosting them, whether it was building that server crashing ship on Spacebuild, the daily shenanigans on Freebuild or the choas of the Trade server.

I hope any friendships you made while being with us remain..even if it is only online and just a message from time to time. Many of you were friends to me especially during a time in my own life were I needed them.

Both the TF2 Trade & GMod Freebuild servers are still online and will remain running, however they will not be managed to the degree that they used to be and may go offline at any time.

However you can still drop by any time for a trip down memory lane. (Freebuild still holds all Advanced duplicator 1 saves since 2009)

So its been pretty dead around here, I'm sure most of you have noticed and a big part of that was due hosting problems from our GSP, I was lucky to get a response after 2 weeks when something went wrong

For those of you who still want to play on the servers I have migrated them over to a box that we manage and no longer have to wait on "support" tickets to be answered after 2 weeks. This also means the servers will auto update on their own, in fact a lot of server tasks can now be automated, along with backups for once!

I'll keep this short, look below for the new IP information.

Loved this community back when it was active, I loved the trade server so much. A bygone era of Source engine servers--casual GMod sandbox groups and TF2 trade servers that weren't just unusual circlejerks...hope anyone passing by here has a good day today

I was hit with a wave of nostalgia wanted to see if the server I had spent the majority of my childhood on was still around and to try in relive my youth, trade_plaza_ox3_b4_fixed really was everything that encapsulated what made old TF2 community servers great. It was really disheartening to find out the place that made all my TF2 core memories have been shut down for year before I got the chance to see who was still around from the old days. I'm just glad to have played in it's heyday, when it was they spot to hangout.
