Fifteen long years have passed since the ONSLAUGHT, an apocalyptic event prophesied to end all of Arcadia. Fortunately, the survivors of the Ralatar invasion successfully upended the attack, ending the demonic scourge for good, successfully destroying the Ralatar homeworld in the process.
Since then, the colonies of Western Arcadia - New Bastion, Winter’s Edge, and Blackfire continued their squabbles in peace until news of the Blood King’s passing reached the ears of Archibald Regalus, the retired Sky Admiral of the New Bastion Navy. Regalus had been living the life of a professor, having founded his own university after the Onslaught forming and making a steady fortune in the process.

For years, the Goblin Lands had been unmapped territory, a land of danger and desolation, where no sane man would venture. The mysterious and untimely death of the Blood King led the already unstable continent into complete collapse, creating a state of endemic warfare between rival Orcish tribes and peaceful Goblin villages.

Territorial squabbles between Winter’s Edge and New Bastion during this fifteen year period had heightened, leading to a petty trade war between the Western Nations. Archibald Regalus saw potential in leading an expedition into the unknown, where rumored treasures lay.

With funding from the university, Regalus Mining Co. was formed. An expedition to the Goblin Lands in pursuit of both research and material gain. Archibald puts together a sleazy crew of fortune-seekers and volunteers on an airship eager to map out the mysterious GOBLIN LANDS…
