Hellooo folks!
A part of an update on our PropHunt server has been finally pushed live, Only part of it because other bigger things that were planned I could not finish with the current schedule and setbacks that there are on other parts of the project.
We did run a test on it a few weeks back but there were changes to be made so it's difficult to say anything about the actual state of the update. If you find something that is breaking the gamemode or anything that you think is not right, please let us know about it in our Discord.

For the most part the update was focused on the core files, those changes were needed for something that is planned to do at a later time. So don't expect to see many changes.
There are a few things that you will notice.

• Some stuff has been done to make players stand out based on their rank group.
  - Hunters have their name floating above their head in the color of the players group.
  - Player models that have the color-able property will also be colored accordingly to the players group.
  - Some changes in chat for the colors too.
  
  
• Now there is a somewhat properly working function to wait for players to connect. It was a big issue when maps is changing and other players who have slower internet or computer miss out on the first round and have to wait because the match just starts if there are just 2 players. It adds just another 10-15 seconds but those are sometimes enough for others to join.
  
  
• We bought an addon called "AHud" that now changes the display elements from the basic HL2/Gmod to a simpler one that in my opinion looks much better.
  
  
• Some display messages have changed to make it look a little bit more fancy when it shows which team won.
  
  
• Chat messages have been changed to stop spamming so much information and added a simple little informal welcome message.
  
  
• As per request, first 30 seconds props don't take fall damage.
  Also added so that in the first 30 seconds props don't have collisions, that should help players get to their desired location without getting stuck on other players.
  
  
• No more combine player models as default ones. Now all hunters who don't have a pointshop bought playermodel will be a HEV Suit model.
