It has been quite a mess with a lot of things lately with all the server issues, sudden server break and well... Running a server that is barely working. But I'm happy to finally say that the last PropHunt update is going live now as I'm finally comfortable with its state.
This took me longer than expected and there still are a few issues to fix but those don't impact the current gameplay. It should be fine and I will get to them when I'll have more time. I myself am moving soon so I won't be able to tackle these issues at the moment. So hopefully that there won't be any crucial issues that need urgent fixing.

We are also now hosting at a very stable hosting provider so there shouldn't be any issues like there were previously where people couldn't connect because of VAC connection issues etc.

So what's changed?
Almost everything to keep it short. The whole PropHunt mode is now working different.

* Now we have 1 hunter per every 5 players. That means that if for example the server has 20 players online then 4 of them will spawn as hunters and the remaining 16 will be props. - This removes the constant need for people to always switch to prop to just play props more.
* Twist - When a prop dies, they respawn as a hunter in the same round.
* Hunter who initially spawned or a prop who became a hunter upon death will still have to spectate their fellow hunters.
This way we don't have people idling and waiting for everyone, no one is ghosting and everyone gets to play. But comes with the price of "Don't Trust Anyone". Now even your fellow props can remember where you went to hide. Maybe relocate once in a while? Up to you.

Because of how teams spawn now there are also changes in weapons, specifically in SMG grenades. We don't spawn with them anymore. Hunters will have to share and pick up a special item like "grenade, smg nade, rpg" somewhere from a spawn on the map. Those are scattered across the map and spawn in a old GTA style bubble.

Those Items will also be able to pre-purchase and use upon a round start in the new shop. Now there is a new shop instead of Pointshop2. Now there is Ashop that is modified specifically for the needs of Apsis. It sadly still needs work and I need to modify most stuff for proper use, but playermodels work fine. Ashop also introduces us to use new stuff like "Playercards" which you can aquire in the shop and will display to the prop you have "eliminated" before they respawn.

But there is always a but. Pointshop2 and Ashop don't work fully together. So all your stuff you had previously and the shop points are "gone". But don't panic. I know the server was dead gone but that doesn't mean some of you didn't care. So I do the same. I saved the pointshop database and all you have to do is message me on discord your steamID and I will get you your points back + a bit more for any shop item loss <3

There are actually too many things that are done that it is easier to summarize them like this:

* Prop freeze in mid air - Removed - dumb feature that I don't know why I added, too exploitable.
* Tauntmenu - Added a volume slider. You can change the volume of the taunts for yourself so that you can hear what is going on and still your taunt. Keep in mind that everyone else will hear the taunt just as loud as it "should" be. It's just you who has the taunts in a different volume.
* Spawned in air or something? - Spawn system is rewritten and tested the most. No more of that.
* Mapvote - Now will check player amount and suggest maps that suitable for the online player amount.
* Running away as an apple and got stuck on the hunter? - Yep, happens, fixed that. Hunters now walk over small props but they will feel the bump.
* Pointshop doesn't have slots anymore? Use !bet - Players can now bet up to 10000 points per round on a player or team who they think will win.

Ok there is too much to say what has changed. You just should join the server closes to you and see for yourself. Because now Apsis is launching with EU and US server.

I know that only Gmod PropHunt is now active, but it has been a real hustle with the hosting providers as I always chose wrong. Give me a minute and L4D2 will be back up and so will other modes and games added to the list. I still have endless ideas that I would want to try, just need time :)
