The project currently uses stand-ins for civs and cultures as developing the data, UI, and art for a new culture will be a monumental effort. It's more important to demonstrate the concept and allow modders to develop those assets for various cultures later on. There are several candidates including The Natives project which WM mentions in the Q/A. PSA: For the last few months I have been getting aggressively trolled by a particular Steam user. He has made several accounts (mostly with location Peru, but sometimes other South American countries) to troll me and although I have blocked him each time, he has now started targeting people on my friends list to get at me. Most of the members of this group are on my friends list, so I feel the need to warn you about this since he has now done this to 3 or 4 of my friends. In addition to having location Peru, this guy tends to have a poor grasp on English, he uses the greeting "men" a lot, and he has some sort of vague request for a mod having something to do with a hypaspist head (he is extremely inconsistent with his request and refuses help). If a person matching this description starts messaging you, please just block him. I have tried to resolve this with him many times with no success. I appologize for this situation and I hope you don't have to deal with this.

I'm in a pickle right now, you could say. My RPG is coming together well, but the focus has been on side content and world building. The atmosphere, graphics, and gameplay are exceptional, although in alpha stages, but I'm having trouble making compelling characters or a coherent story. The map is small but dense, so creating set pieces is impossible without removing large detailed sections of the map. Just some advice or help making a story with interesting and developed characters would be great, or just some inspiration in general. Thanks guys!

Slightly better guess: It might have something to do with your SCX file. The SCX has a string of proto objects called from the active proto file. Since you were using the mod when I updated, it may have confused the SCX (the game is otherwise surprisingly versatile in this particular way in the sense that SCX files tend to work regardless of which proto you have). This might explain why you weren't able to delete the data files manually. Of course, this doesn't explain why the same bug would happen when I updated the Anim Mod which has no data files.... so... idk. We did fail to reproduce the issue with two other playtesters so it could just be a random bug on your end.

I unsubbed again and checked my files. They are still there, but are unaccessible. It says i dont have permission to access them, although i can access any other mod file. I dont have permission to delete the corrupt files either. So I, out of desperation tried to uninstall steam and aom, but my laptop still has the files on it and cant be deleted, although it says that steam and aom are gone. Really strange, right? so I completely wipe my computer and start from scratch since its a new Acer computer. I reinstalled everything and the mods ran fine as well as aom. Then several crashes later I got the message that the file is corrupt again. Idk what to do because i cant get rid of them and i dont wanna reset my laptop AGAIN... Please Help!

Hi guys. Ive had a serious problem with modding on AOM. I downloaded Callistonians UMC mods a couple months ago to make an rpg. It was coming along well, but i got a message on aom saying the mods were broken. I disabled, reloaded, then unsubbed. I resubbed, but they are still 'broken".

Wow, people actually joined! Well, we'll see how this little experiment goes. I'm not sure if members can invite people but if so, feel free, if not, let me know who I should invite. I would like to keep it a little bit exclusive to people who have contributed to the workshop/AoMH.

I was trying to get phdorogers4 to admin with me but he seems to be having trouble joining.

Let me know if you guys have suggestions regarding the group name, icon, etc. etc. I made the group because one didn't already exist. Hopefully we can find some use for it. Phdorogers and I previously discussed seasonal awards for workshop content so we could potentially use this as a platform for that.
