Well this is a little strange. After all, I never really thought this day would ever come. The years were fun and sometimes busy, and I will fondly remember sneaking my phone out in class so I wouldn't miss any new posts. From the first post on the minecraft forums to the creation of our own and after; the mod fostered a community. A community with all of the commradery and drama that comes with that.

Starting on the minecraft forum on December 7th, 2011, All Dem Dimensions was the brainchild of beloved creator later turned angry god; Jellomob. The basic idea was simple; minecraft even with the 1.0 release did not feel complete; the nether seemed empty and the end even moreso. The mod proposed to ADD several new dimensions and flesh out the ones we already have. This idea inspired 125 pages of intense discussion and ideation when it was determined that a mod forum would be needed. The first forum, created by Savannah_man had the unfortunate mistake of being built on a limited trial. Quickly, Kazuja came to the rescue with our second and final forum we all know of. Many of the early contributors had left by this point, with only Savannah_man, FireHawkDelta, and Jellomob hailing from the earliest of times. Many of our other members had since joined though before the forums creation, such as Kazuja, Jakest_123, Nexus_Lennon, HumanPorcupine, V4nity, and myself to name a few.

With the creation of the forum, a greater organisation was gained. With this a renaissance of ideas was had. We had totals of 67521 posts, 30136 topics, and 104 members. We had our fair share of greivances, trolls, and on one occasion a false threat of conflict with a similar mod, who felt the same periods of inactivity as we. they officially abandoned development in novemeber 2015. We, ourselves had a "scare" of the same several times. Not the least of which was the archiving of the forum in April 2013. The forum was brought back in September with the second return of Pudelhund though and continued with ups and downs of development though it slowly died over the course of the next 3 years, with a final attempt to revitalise the efforts by morebosses in October of 2016, the mod, and the forum, became abandoned.

We've all done some great work and had some great times and I will archive the entire site within a zip file for memorandum, but the time has come. On Friday, June 2nd we plan to be closing the forum permanently. In a way this has been an obituary for the mod, and maybe even the community. This group, though, shall remain, to remind us all of the community we once had.
