Gameplay:

RP, Heavy and admin-backed encouragement and rewards for fostering an immersive community, culture, and history for the server.
PvE, Enhanced RP Events with admin guidance will provide for rich experiences otherwise not available on any other server or game.
PvP, !Regulated! for server culture sustainability, you are required to familiarize yourself with all rules regarding hostilities before engaging in them!

Rules & Guidelines

Do NOT ♥♥♥♥♥ and whine about the state of an ALPHA stage game development, and to-be-optimized server performance; provide thorough and construction observations and feedback!
Do NOT make I, residents, or sponsors regret trusting you with our time, energy, disposable income, and so on; Make Hyboria great again!
DO read, re-read, and memorize any and all Rules & Guidelines AND keep up-to-date on changes; this is your obligation, it is a requirement, and deviation from productive contribution to the community will be met with the same lack of mercy that the Exile Lands offer.
RP: Stay in-character and on-task as often as possible to Gain Favor!
PVP: Hostilities must be justifiable (Ex, Racial/Religious hatred+Altercations) and consistent for 1-2 weeks before WAR can be declared.
PVP: WAR (Specifically granting baseraiding consent) must be declared, recorded
PVP: Attacks against player bases are restricted to WAR and can only occur 8AM to Midnight Eastern Standard Time. Make every attempt to engage in hostilities when members of your declared enemy clan are actually online (They do NOT need to be at base). Cowardice will not be tolerated in the lands that once had Barbarian King Conan thunder in stride upon as though Crom himself were walking Hyboria.
PVP/RP: Race-based pre-existing hatreds that justify hostilities will be established with a chart made available.
PVP/RP: Religion-based pre-existing hatred is a justifiable spark for hostilities and may curry Favor with the Gods, as well as Curses for attacking your own.
PVP/RP: Make every attempt to record the outcomes of hostile encounters so that the tales of victory may be told over mead and wine among the mewling lamentations of zee womenz. These events are to be recorded among the Saga_of_Exiles thread in the message body of your original character registration message.

Server manually taken down for a couple weeks.

The Age of Exiles server will be coming down for a couple weeks while more pressing matters are attended to. The server deployment is fully backed up along with Conan Exiles save backups localized; the server can be launched manually on my end from my own machine for a few people to play with for a bit if so desired. There are some nice updates ahead for the game and it'll be great to see them when the time is ready. Right now there's some crucial functionality, features, and content that're holding us back from the vision of the server's objectives, but they'll mostly be addressed in time. The way the server is being hosted with Vultr all funding remains pending and is not wasted with server idleness if I fully terminate the deployment during manual downages. The balance still holds 1.5'ish months of operational funding for when we relaunch from the saved snapshots. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

The move from SurvivalServers.com to Vultr enterprise cloud services went quite well despite the laborious nature of manually administrating at such a high level. The hardware and server have been tested extensively for the past 12'ish hours straight and not a single disconnect has occurred. We welcome you all back to come prepare yourselves to settle into our lands among the various would-be clans and tribes seeking war and peace. Soon we will begin the player/clan registration thread where every player will input all the particulars about their upcoming life within Age of Exiles; this will be required for participation. Meanwhile, the capital city, that 50-75% of activity and population will center around, continues to rapidly take exquisite shape. This morning I just finished roughing in a fully acceptable arena/prison along with refining the massive 25 story stairwell up to the city (Still has a slight bit of flooring to go in and divider installations for apartments). It's gonna be amazing folks, look forward to having you all milling about the city soon. Safe travels.
