Welcome Mission Makers To A New Community!

Hey guys, so I decided to put this group together to help everyone who wants a little help creating a mission, and also give you a place to post your creations!

This is mainly an idea sharing group, join if you know a bit about the things you can do in the editor, or if you don't know anything, join so we can assist you on making your missions epic!

Weather you use the Arma 3 editor or Arma 2, you are welcome here to gain wisdom, but also share what you have learned.

So instead of doing forums or whatever else, it might be good to use the chat room for the group, honestly, i've never used it before, so i dont exactly know how it works, but if you just go to the group homepage you can join it from there.

Hey first of all, thank you for joining, but remember the community is what you make it.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you a quick question and if you could reply in the comments that would be great

Would you rather use the forums on steam or another forum on an outside website (i.e. adding forums to the current web site)?

I'm just really curious and personally I would like forums not on steam, because I just don't care for it.

Hey guys I just joined and I am currently working on a new map for arma 3 which I made to be used in a "life" mission which I'd be happy to upload once finished for free of course the arma community has been so great I just felt like I have to give something back...only problem is after I managed to get my (half) finished map in to a pbo and activated the mod in the expansion tab,I can't see it once I go in to the editor...may it be because I used the stratis config.cpp as a template for my maps config.cpp?

Anyone know how to pinpoint locations on vehicles i.e headlights etc? usually in the form of [x, y, z];

Hello everyone, i want to make a mission where a trigger activates when a vehicle's fuel level goes down to zero or is filled up all the way. Any ideas?

Kestrel i think you can try set a trigger and udner trigger effects where you can choose music and all that, under screen select fade in.
