The 985th Assault Battalion

Consisting of;
'Valath' Platoon & 'Shyrack' Squadron. [589th SRU]

We at the 985th Assault Battalion are a mixed bag of both first time & experienced ARMA players who play in a semi casual/semi serious group. The unit is based in the Oceanic time zone of GMT +10. The group itself normally focuses on acting as a rapid deployment force which can be sent to hot zones via multiple insertion methods.

The main element, 'Valath' Platoon, is divided into four infantry sections.
We also provide members an opportunity to become a pilot of the aviation squadron known as 'Shyrack' Squadron. In Shyrack you will be tasked to fly CAS missions as well as act as infantry transport for the majority of the unit.
