8CHAN DOTO

I know things have been inactive for a while, so I wanted to see if we can get back in touch with the community. It seems that we had some cool events going for a while that fell off.

First, if you want to chat with other 8chan users, join the public chat channel "8chandoto" in the Dota 2 client. We used to use guild chat, but since it died with reborn, this is the best we have for general user use; just search for the channel "8chandoto" in the user channel list and add it even if it isn't there, it will readd at startup and any other users who have it added will connect to the channel automatically as well. Things are dead now, but hopefully there will be some more activity in the near future (wink wink ;^]).

Second, in order to try and get some people from the community playing together, I suggest lurkers/posters try to get their names out to other players. Joining the chat channel and group are great ways to do this (but not as good as guilds Valve what the ♥♥♥♥). I plan on sending a friend request to all the players in the Steam group to try and get some people playing together. I also plan on trying to use the "Open Party" feature a bit more to try join some parties.

Just wanted to remind everyone the board is alive (at least I check it about every day) so hopefully the silent people will be more willing to post and we can start doing some stuff together again <3.
