关于 75th Regiment of Foot [NW]

The 75th (Stirlingshire) Regiment of Foot, was a British Army line infantry regiment, raised in 1787.

History

The regiment was raised in Stirling by Colonel Robert Abercromby for service in India as the 75th (Highland) Regiment of Foot in October 1787. In accordance with the Declaratory Act 1788 the cost of raising the regiment was recharged to East India Company on the basis that the act required that expenses "should be defrayed out of the revenues" arising there. First assembled in June 1788, the regiment proceeded to England and embarked for India arriving there by the end of the year.It saw action at the Siege of Seringapatam in February 1792 during the Third Anglo-Mysore War.It went on to fight at the Battle of Seedaseer in March 1799 and formed part of the storming party at the Siege of Seringapatam in April 1799 during the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War.It also took part in the Siege of Bharatpur in January 1805 during the Second Anglo-Maratha War.It then returned home in August 1806 and then lost its Highland status due to recruiting difficulties, becoming the 75th Regiment of Foot in April 1809.

So ye guys.. this is the moment alot of leaders and players in this community have been waiting for but its time that i do leave this ♥♥♥♥ game and leave our era and community to what its needed and let it die.. We have been amazing together and we already as 24e/3rd/57e/9te/79th/Nr.7/75th done so much and rekking everything we had in our path. But after the last GF match me and wursti both have decided that competitive nw makes no sense anymore. Since the Nr.12 and 13te_HG have reformed and we are splitting up i decided to let the 75th go. I decided this with wursti. they are "fine" regs and not like our structure but you'll still enjoy the game if you go there tbh. Or like me quit the game and focus on ur social life. You can also always help out luke & skorpien in the 13te_HG cuz they'll need it. I want to thank you all so much for all the time and effort you guys gave me and wursti/cookie. all these months/years for some people. I love you all.
