Our History

The 57th Line Infantry Regiment or ( 57e RI ) is a regiment of the French army, heir to the Regiment Beauvoisis , and a tradition dating back to 1667. It has experienced an almost uninterrupted existence in the service of France until 2011. He participated gloriously actions of the monarchy, the Revolution , the Empire and the Republic in recent world conflicts , in France and beyond its borders.

The regiment fought in a number of battles during its time as can be seen below:

1792: Capture of Spire
1793: Defence of Mayence
1794: Capture of Fontarabie and Siege of Pampelune
1797: La Favorite
1799: Zurich and Diessenhofen
1800: Engen, Moeskirch, Biberach, Hochstedt, Nordlingen, Oberhausen, Neubourg, Landshut, and Hohenlinden
1805: Memmingen, Ulm, and Austerlitz
1806: Jena and Lubeck
1807: Bergfried, Deppen, Hoff, Eylau, Lomitten and Heilsberg
1809: Thann, Abensberg, Eckmuhl, Ratisbonne, Essling, and Wagram.
1812: Mohilov, La Moskowa, Malojaroslavetz, Viasma, and Krasnoe
1813: Dresden, Pirna, Kulm and Rachnitz
1814: Defence of Strasbourg

Our Battle Honours are: La Favorite 1797, Austerlitz 1805, and La Moskowa 1812 s

I miss the old regiment days.....Why are all NW regiments such ♥♥♥♥♥ these days??

Thanks for everything guys, it truly was a great experience getting to meet and play with you guys, it really does mean a lot.
As Etherton said, you really have been the best bunch of lads we've been with.
It was fun, some of the best times I've ever had in NW, and I thank you all for that. For being a part of the 57e.
As we all know, all good things must come to an end, I just wish this one could've lasted a bit longer.
Me, Etherton and Joeja will probably be joining the Spartans, if any of you guys ever need anything make sure to message me and I'll try to help. (To join the Spartans you have to pass a melee based trail)
If any of you don't know what regiment to go to next I highly recommend the 51st, they've got some of my old NW buddies in there, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. - 85.236.100.27:20677 - (51st teamspeak)

Big Thanks to everyone who played for us. Best bunch of lads ive been with. This group shall last aslong as we keep it going. Maybe when Bannerlords comes out ill create a Clan in that and try to get everyone back! So keep an eye on the Bannerlords forums for that folks ;)

Well 57e RIP in Peace, You was decent-ish while you lasted even though I had to re-siege King's landing every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day, must have lost 2 full army's having to retreat to attend events. Anyway despite the fact I probably lost 250k coins worth of troops it was fun kinda and with all the banter and Etherton's voice nearly put me to sleep each event.
