The 52nd (Lowland) Infantry Division was an infantry division of the British Army that was originally formed as the Lowland Division, in 1908 as part of the Territorial Force. It later became the 52nd (Lowland) Division in 1915. The 52nd (Lowland) Division fought in the First World War before being disbanded, with the rest of the Territorial Force, in 1920. The Territorial Force was later reformed as the Territorial Army and the division was again raised, during the inter-war years, as the 52nd (Lowland) Infantry Division - a 1st Line Territorial Army Infantry Division - and went on to serve during the Second World War. After the war, the division was merged with the 51st (Highland) Infantry Division in 1948. The history of the division was carried on by the 52nd Lowland Brigade, and later the 52nd Lowland Regiment.

We play Darkest Hour 44-45, Verdun, Rise of Flight and Red Orchestra 1 and 2. We are a Realistic military Division and we also go through training for new recruits. Training involves an individual in the battlefield. Any new members that wants to join us will have to send the admin a private message.

The Courland Pocket refers to the Red Army's blockade or isolation of the Army Group North later renamed the Army Group Courland on the Courland Peninsula from July 1944 through May 1945. This action isolated the German Army Group North from the rest of the German forces between Tukums and Liepāja in Latvia. The Army Group Courland must now they must hold out at all cost in order to evacuate the civilians there. Can the Germans hold out long enough to be consider the final victory?

Section 2 Rank Revisions Complete

All members of Section 2 under my command have had their ranks revised. If you are a member of Section 2, please change your in-game tags to the rank placed in parentheses to the right of your name. If you need help, consult the Rank Abbreviations Discussion that Weber has posted.

I am also proud to announce that, due to his skill and dedication to the 52nd Infantry Division, Corporal Craig has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant, and will act as the NCO of my Section. In this new position, Craig will be expected to lead a team of 4 with the task of using heavy weapons from a distance to support an advance or decimate incoming enemy troops with accurate and devastating firepower. This is a task that will also be held by the newly promoted Sergeant Covington of Section 1, which is under the command of 1st Lieutenant Weber. With Craig and Covington both taking part in training and live exercise during their time here, I have the utmost faith that they will only strengthen the 52nd in their new postings.

1st Lieutenant Weber and Sergeant Covington should be able to revise the ranks of Section 1 within the week. With every reform we're improving our chances in our rivalry with the 29th!
