Geronimo!

It is with a heavy heart that today, March 18th, 2008, I must announce the closing of the 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment. We've had good times, and you were all a lot of fun, but it seems interest in this unit has dropped for everyone, including the command staff, and including me.

We all have our own agendas, and evidently the 509th PIR has disappeared from those agendas. It is sad, but inevitable. I just wish it hadn't happened so soon. I wish you all good luck both in your life, and in your careers as members of the realism community, no matter what game you play.
