The regiment turned to the 1st Brigade under General of Lamotte from a battalion. On 30th / 31st October 1813 threw himself against the Bavarian contingent Napoleon's troops at Hanau, but Napoleon was quickly finished with the Bavarian-Austrian troops. The regiment suffered as a missing 20 dead, six officers, including Colonel Commandant Colonel Matthias Fortemps, and 93 wounded as a man, and 16 officers and 267 men. From 22 December 1813 to 10 January 1814 at Hüningen Regiment was used. In the battle there on April 5, 1814 Captain Heinrich Graf Guiot du Ponteil received by General Friedrich Freiherr von Zoller instructed to take the machicolation tower, the small Flesche in the field of Abaduzi Monument and Sternschanze. In 1846 the lieutenant general of Theobald widow donated 60,000 guilders. The interest should be paid to fatherless and unmarried daughters of officers and military officials as a supporting performance. Was a III again on 21 April 1848th Battalion erected. It was housed in the garrison towns of Regensburg, Nuremberg and Bamberg. The regiment was on 26 April 1848 in 4th Infantry Regiment "Gumppenberg", from April 10 1855 in 4th Infantry Regiment "vacant Gumppenberg" renamed. In 1859 the regiment had to have 18 companies.
