4 Battalion the Rifles - Milsim Role-Play Unit

WHO WE ARE

A proudly British military simulation group that combines the realism of milsim and the immersion of role-play to create the ultimate gaming expierence. We play as 4 Rifles Battallion, and also offer roles from the RAMC and Royal Signals.


TRAINING

We started in September 2017, and have continuously built our unit from there. We have sophisticated training programs that have been built by instructors with vast levels of military expierences, offering a diverse and unique gaming expierence. This teaches you teamwork, patience, determination, discipline and the tactical skills required to make it on the virtual battlefield. First is Phase 1 training, which includes obstacle courses, rifle shooting, close quaters battle and chemical warefare drills. Phase 2 is done with the Royal Signals or Royal Army Medical Corps, where all the technical aspects of the roles are trained. Phase 2 training is not required if you join the Rifles.


WHAT WE OFFER

With a huge variety of roles available, you're spoiled for choice both pre and post your application. With roles in the Infantry, the Royal Signals and the Royal Army Medical Corps on offer when you start your application, you could be taking on specialised roles before anyone else. In the infantry, once you have proven your worth, you have the opportunity to take on roles such as machinegunners, anti tank specialists, advanced drivers, vehicle engineers and even armoured personal carrier drivers.


DEPLOYMENTS / TOURS AND EXERCISES

Our deployments are extremely realistic, ranging from Afghanistan to the jungles of South America. Each deployment lasts between 2 weeks and 2 months, so you never get bored and get a continuous diverse gameplay. We also provide very realistic exercises. Exercises are simulated combat situations which are performed by the real British army. These are used to keep up our standards and revise previously learned combat techniques that perhaps aren't often used all the time during our combat deployments. This keeps our skills in check and ensures we ready to deploy anywhere in the world.


OTHER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are not just all about being action soldiers, the unit requires a range of extra jobs to keep the unit running. These include roles such as human resources specialists, training teams, development teams, tech service teams and modding development teams. All of the above are available once you have completed your phase 1 training and built trust in the community.
