The 40th (the 2nd Somersetshire) Regiment of Foot was an infantry regiment of the British Army, raised in 1717 in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Under the Childers Reforms it amalgamated with the 82nd Regiment of Foot (Prince of Wales's Volunteers) to form the Prince of Wales's Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment) in 1881.The regiment was raised at Annapolis Royal in Nova Scotia by General Richard Philipps as the Richard Philipps's Regiment of Foot in August 1717 out of independent companies stationed in North America and the West Indies.

Our Guidlines:

1) There is to be no bashing of any other regiments or players. Even if said group provokes you, simply ignore them and let an NCO or Officer know of the situation. Be the better man!

2) Any and all slurs relating to race, sexuality, etc. is hereby banned. That means nobody, regardless of rank, is to use any slurs in both teamspeak and in-game. You may however use whatever words you wish in private as that is your business.

3) General respect and kindness is expected of everyone. Don’t be overly abrasive for no reason. Do not harass, troll, and disrespect anyone even if they provoke you. Be the better man and let an NCO or officer know of the situation. Of course, playful banter is allowed. Just don’t overdue. Be mindful of others!
