9/8/17 Server Problems

We are currently investigating problems with our host server.

Earlier today, at approximately 2:30pm EST, our hosted ARK and TeamSpeak servers crashed. Since then, we have been having spurts of both good service and horrible lag, until 9:00pm EST, when the server crashed yet again.

Please rest assured that we have multiple people, including IT professionals, looking into the issue and will have the server back to its normal, stable self as soon as we can.

I apologize to everyone that has wanted to play during this time. We want to play too! :(

How to play without updating for when admins are busy and not around to update server.

First, set ARK to not update automatically when you have Steam open.

Right-click ARK in your Steam Library list and select Properties
Go to the Updates tab
Select 'Only update this game when I launch it' from the dropdown

Next, make a shortcut to the ARK executable file

Go to the Local Files tab of that ARK properties page
Click 'Browse Local Files...' to open the ARK directory
Navigate to ShooterGame-->Binaries-->Win64
Make a shortcut to ShooterGame.exe on your desktop (or wherever) IMPORTANT: do not move or change any of the files in these folders!
