The 3rd Marine Raider Battalion or 3MRB was Founded in mid 2016. We are a casual Arma 3 Realism Unit. The 3MRB is based around the Special Forces of the United States Marine Corps.

At its core, a realism unit is a role-playing unit. We strive to promote an immersive and professional environment for members to role-play in by providing a unique and casual military experience. When in-game, members are expected to act as if they are on a foreign battlefield or in a domestic training environment. However when a member is outside the game and just relaxing in the teamspeak, the attitude taken is a casual one. This is for the people who want to take a break from the in-game immersion.

The goal of the unit is to always balance the realism with fun. If members are not enjoying the experience, then there is no point in the unit existing. When there comes a point at which a decision between the two has to be made, we always have to remember that this is a game and we are here for entertainment, and we will always be on the side of fun.
