The 3CER created in Australia on the 28th of January, 2018. The 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment offers postings in the Oceanic Region with a variety of possible roles.

The 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment is based at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville, Queensland and is part of the 3rd Brigade. The 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment has been deployed to the Solomon Islands under Operation Anode, and has also served in Timor-Leste, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Regiment consists of:

• 25 Support Squadron
