"I am that which other do not want to be. I choose to go where others reared and excel where they have failed.

I ask nothing from those that will not give anything anyway and reluctantly accepted the thought of eternal loneliness... Should I fail.

I have seen the face of death, felt the stinging cold of fear, I have realized the harsh reality of just what this job is all about. I enjoyed the sweet taste of victory and love but, those were just fleeting moments.

I have cried, pained and hoped but, most of all, I have lived times thoers would say are best forgotten... But,

At least I will be able to say I was proud of who and what I am and that in my heart and soul I will be always a Pararescue-Jumper"
